Material is central to every CLAN object. We describe it precisely so you can choose according to touch, grain and the way it will age.

Calfskin

Smooth and versatile, calfskin offers a refined hand and develops character through use. It is suited to clean, slim constructions.

Crocodile-embossed calfskin

Calfskin can be embossed to create a more regular, graphic grain. It is distinct from genuine crocodilian leather and is always identified as embossed calfskin.

Lizard

Genuine lizard leather has a fine, recognisable scale pattern. Natural differences in scale and colour make every finished panel individual.

Alligator

Genuine alligator is selected for its distinctive scale structure and depth of colour. Pattern variation is natural and makes each piece unique.

Care

Keep leather away from prolonged heat, moisture, cosmetics and abrasive surfaces. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For specific care or repair advice, contact CLAN before applying products to the leather.
