CLAN Milano combines leather craftsmanship with product engineering. Every object begins with the way it will be held, carried and used.

Design for use

Proportion, grip, protection and access to every control are resolved before decorative decisions. For technology accessories, the fit must be exact; for leather goods, structure must remain elegant through repeated use.

Material selection

Each hide is assessed for grain, hand and suitability for the intended construction. Natural variation is respected rather than disguised. Parts are selected and cut so that the character of the leather supports the shape of the finished object.

Construction and finishing

Cutting, skiving, bonding, lining and edge finishing are coordinated as one system. The aim is a refined object without unnecessary thickness. Many CLAN pieces are made to order by the 2ME LAB production team near Milan.
